⛈️ Consider this photo your PSA that radars and forecasts are just best guesses and nothing more! ⛈️
The radar had shown this entire system staying south of the photoshoot location the other day. As I was driving closer I noticed the storm seemed to be inching closer, but was still not in the area I was going to and was still not showing on the radar or forecast in the area!
No joke, from the time I parked my car down the street, to the time it took to walk to the beach- this absolute monster had rolled in. It was moving SO FAST. I didn’t even realize how close it had come until i had walked out of the beach access path, onto the sand, and had a clear view of the beach.
My clients were standing together on the beach and I told them it was not safe to be out, and that we needed to reschedule. We took this quick photo and then ran to our cars.
Literally as soon as I shut my door it started to rain and 2 minutes later the spicy weather showed up: monsoon, wind, and lightning.
This Florida weather is crazy unpredictable! ⛈️
Side note- I’m in the market for some new weather apps- what’s your favorite? 😅😅😅 I was using accuweather, clime and apple weather.
